New York Women's Fashion Week SS18 - Moodboard
All the inspiration behind the fashion shows
September 15th, 2017
Femininity can be powerful.
Victoria Beckham said it presenting her pastel collection for SS18, and declined it, each with their own style, all of the designers of this last New York Fashion Week. For Philipp Plein a powerful woman is free to show his love for bondage, for a certain fetishism that, in the hands of Shayne Oliver, debuting with Helmut Lang, become a sexuality in which you feel comfortable that as a symbol the underwear to be worn over the clothes. Tom Ford opts for a sexy glamor, Alexander Wang finds strength in his Wang Squad, in a group of friends to celebrate until dawn; Raf Simons for Calvin Klein is inspired by the stars of American horror movies, by Shelley Duval in The Shining at Sissy Spacek in Carrie. Anna Sui regrets the joyful femininity of the 1960s and Summer of Love, the same period evoked by the colorful prints of Marc Jacobs, a tribute to Pucci.
And for Rihanna? Her entire show with pink blush hills, acrobatic motorbikes and sport style is a kind of metaphor for female power.
Now it is up to you to dress the woman you are or want to be.
