The inspirations from the catwalks

Milan Fashion Week SS21 Moodboard The inspirations from the catwalks

For the designers of this Milan Fashion Week, working on the SS21 collections was a matter of facing a changing world. Born during the lockdown period, the new creations reflect a more intimate and simple microcosm. No more excesses, the fashion of 2021 looks to the past, family, nature and art to dress the future. Just like Fendi who revived traditional craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation, Prada and Raf Simons with their style dialogue, Versace with its Atlantis celebrating the brand's archive.

Will tradition and beauty save us? Maybe. Perhaps they will give us just a hint of coolness as shown by Le Déjeuner sur l'herbe by Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini, Max Mara with its collection inspired by the Italian Renaissance or the refined elegance of  Valentino

Here are the most interesting inspirations behind the MFW collections.
