Hello Paris #8 - Long live Colette
What happens if you take pictures of the Balenciaga Colette pop-up store and mix it with hip-hop lyrics about the brand?

What happens if you take pictures of the Balenciaga pop-up store Colette and mix it with hip-hop lyrics about the brand? This.
With its last months of existence, Parisian most-famous concept store has become the pop-up location of different brands until it's closing in late 2017. The first guest pop-up brand was Balenciaga, one of the most hyped in the whole fashion industry right now. Forget the history of Cristobal, reworked classics of Nicolas Ghesquière and modern moves of Alexander Wang, Demna Gvasalia is the one who put it back on a pedestal in 2017.
Whether we can argue or not about its relevance at the moment or the fact that one of the most historically important brands became "Vetements 2.0" - the sales says it all. Balenciaga in 2017 is one of the most popular brands and facts say it all. While A$AP Rocky rocking orange waterproof puff jacket, we can get us a lighter or a pencil - thanks to Colette, who launched pop-up gallery dedicated to Balenciaga; the installation includes literally cut on half cars, nothing but a Porsche, some bikes and computers to edit your t-shirt prints on.
Long live Colette.
