Everything we know about Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2017 Including the entire models's line up

It is the warmest autumn event of the year, the more expected, the one that sends into raptures crowds of men, and not only them, all over the world.

No, it’s not a football matches, but the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Usually broadcast on CBS in December, but recorded the previous month, the event brings together the sexiest lingerie with the most beautiful women on the planet, from Alessandra Ambrosio to Adriana Lima, the famous “angels” who have made the underwear brand iconic.

The show is not just a continuous alternation of statuary bodies and long hair (beach waves are a must), but a celebration of beauty with well-defined codes: pink satin robes, a costly and often eccentric Fantasy Bra(do you remember the one created by jeweler Eddie Borgo using 9000 precious stones?), pounds of glitters, live performances of stars like, in recent years, the Weeknd (which the runway has met former beautiful Hadid), Lady Gaga or Taylor Swift.

About two months to the next Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, here’s what we know so far.

#1 When & where

After Cannes, London, New York City, Los Angeles, Miami and last year, Paris, this time the angels at Victoria’s Secret will fly to Shanghai, China where the brand already has 26 stores. The official confirmation came this week via Instagram, as well as that of the broadcast date on CBS. The day chosen to see the show is November 28th.

#2 The Angels

No auditions for the “historic” angels Candice Swanepoel, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge. Great surprise return, after a two years break for Karlie Kloss, who in 2015 put her runway career on hold to attend New York University.

Reconfirm also the 10 new recruited last year: Elsa Hosk, Josephine Skriver, Sara Sampaio, Martha Hunt, Stella Maxwell, Lais Ribeiro, Jasmine Tookes, Romee Strijd and Taylor Hill. Together they are a crew of 14 uber sexy models.

#3 The Missing Angels

Many confirmations, but also some major defection on next November catwalk including Cara Delevingne, Hailey Baldwin, Kendall Jenner and Doutzen Kroes.

The latter officially retired as an angel after the 2016 fashion show and Kendall became this year the face of the underwear brand La Perla, a Victoria’s Secret’s competitor, which most likely have entered into the contract a non-competition clause, preventing Kim Kardashian's sister-in-law to wear angel wings again.

#4 The line-up

Apart from the “historic” angels, to join the cast of the VS fashion show all the girls must pass the difficult and rigid examination of a group of experts led by Ed Razek, Victoria’s Secret creative senior director, and producer Monica Mitro. A whole flock of models have been spotted in the streets of New York, around the location of the auditions, showing their most eye-catching look in an attempt to make a good impression on the examiners. Many of the selected girls have chosen the streetstyle photos taken on that occasion to announce, strictly via Instagram, that they have gained the scope of engagement.

Among the confirmations stand out Stella MaxwellBehati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Liu Wen, Blanca Padilla, e Lily Donaldson, while between the newcomers Georgia Fowler, Barbara Fialho, Alanna Arrington, Kate Grigorieva, Grace Bol, Maria Borges, Leomie Anderson, Herieth Paul and Vanessa Moody.

And Hadid sisters? Among the last to be auditioned, Bella and Gigi are, of course, part of the angels that we would see in November.

#5 Bianca Balti’s affair

All the girls with the perfect body, with long legs and long hair. All beautiful and full of hopes.

Among them also the Italian Bianca Balti, one that needs no introduction. Her career is consolidated. She is one of the most beloved and successful top models he has been performing for Victoria’s Secret in 2005, has worked with the most prestigious brands and has recently been chosen to be part of the Sports Illustrated team. The thirty-three, newlyweds Matthew McRae, despite being the mother of two daughters, looks great. It was, therefore, reasonable to think that she would be able to overcome Ed Edek’s cast, but, unfortunately, the opposite happened. Bianca has been discarded.

She announced it on her Instagram profile, posting a photograph near the audition’s location wearing a black dress, stiletto sandals and mini bag, alongside the self-deprecating comment

"My 'I didn’t get it' face. Congratulations to all the girls who are going to do the VS 2017 fashion show! Have a blast!!"

If Balti looks serene, her fans have come up against the decision of Victoria’s Secret, among them the influencer Chiara Ferragni who wrote to the top model

“Who could do it better than you?”
