While the celebrations for Air Max Day go on with, Nike Vapormax make their way to the shelves. So this week is all about tradition and innovation meeting together. The newest silhouette find their space on the market and in collector and sneakers aficionados heart next to the classic and most iconic designs. In the meantime Demna and Guram Gvasalia, after announcing their plan to move the company to Zurich, have fan trolling resellers by restocking their infamous collab with Reebok. They renownedly like to create chaos in the maker at all its levels, even the most hidden ones.
NikeLab Air Max 97 Mid x Riccardo Tisci
In a recent interview on Nike News Riccardo Tisci opened up about Air Max 97 and their great influence on Italian culture in the 90's. He indentified the AM 97 as the most influential sneakers for Italian youth and the starting point of the mix between sneakers and fashion. Being cool those years involved rocking AM 97 in the clubs. So that was a trend that had a lot to do with clubs and music, as Tisci says. In terms of design he gave a mature twist to the sportswear silhouette. The sneakers feature premium thumbled leather with Nike x RT embroider and also a touch of suede on the tongue. Another must have sneaker to celebrate Air Max Day.

After their debut on COMME Des GARÇONS SS17 défilé and the super-exclusive release of the slip-on variation. Nike is about to launch these Vapor Max "Triple Black". The sneaker features core-black Flyknit upper and fully length Visible Air outsole. This specific iteration also have a special reflective M3 swoosh.
NikeLab Air Vapor Max x Marc Newson
The Air VaporMax in collaboration with Marc Newson is in full-grain light brown leather and it wraps around the front of the shoe, the central velcro, the heel and the strap.
NikeLab Air Max 1 "Master"
These sneakers are the way of Nike to celebrate the first ever shoe featuring Visible Air technology created by Tinker Hatefield in 1987. This mismatched colorway add that touch of madness to a classic design that every AM1 fan will love.
