How are you living the quarantine: fears and dreams?
During the quarantine, I spend a lot of time with my family, read a lot, and learn about various new subjects that I previously never found the time to. I also draw a lot, the world suffering and the current turbulent crisis really touches me deep in my heart so I tap into these feelings and use art as a catalyst to inspire and spread a message of hope, freedom and unity. Despite the current situation being a total disaster, I feel that it could be a good opportunity for us, humans, to question our current society and rethink our world. My dream is that this virus will help the entire world to understand how we are failing as a society. I really hope the current situation will bring the best out of humans and that we will all build together a better path for our civilization by learning from our past mistakes in order to create a better future for all us. My fear is that our society won’t learn anything from this situation and go back to regular life like nothing happened, keep polluting, keep overproducing, over-consuming, keep living in a consumer society that places a high value on owning things.
What is your soundtrack?
I currently listen to Dans La Legende from PNL, Meet the Woo from Pop Smoke, Sometimes from Young Troy, Les Derniers Salopards from Maes, Toxicity from System Of A Down, La Boheme from Charles Aznavour & Milly Rock from Nadji. I also listen to a lot of panel of discussion such as Tate Talks.
