“The Glitch Camp” from the perspective of nss
To Discover the International Project
April 24th, 2024
nss joined the initiative The Glitch Camp, a free urban camping experience for design students from around the world organized by IED from April 15 to 21 at the soccer field of Centro Sportivo Cappelli Savorelli. To enhance opportunities for young individuals to experience Milan Design Week, nss provided its support through a welcome kit for each camper. The project was inspired by the concept of "glitch". Taking its name from a term associated with errors often used in coding, the Glitch Camp leveraged the positive aspects that can emerge from complexities - in this case, related to hospitality. The IED initiative was a unique opportunity during Design Week: young students socialized and engaged in discussions, an unconventional idea that effectively promoted networking among new minds and growth experiences. The Glitch Camp extended the creative heritage of Milan Design Week internationally, bringing the project to international schools, not only serving as a training activity for participants but also as a launch and distribution platform for one of the most important design events globally.
