Milan Fashion Week SS21 Street Style - Part 1
The fashion industry makes its comeback to Milan

Andrea Zendali
This unusual Milan Fashion Week has officially started, and between digital presentations and physical shows, the city tries to restart after the health emergency. Among the most anticipated shows of these first days, the debut of Raf Simons in collaboration with Miuccia Prada did not disappoint, a collection that was the perfect mixture of the imaginaries and the archives of the two brilliant designers, while at Fendi the last women's collection designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi was well received, before the arrival of Kim Jones.
Andrea Zendali's lens, however, was pointed towards the street, in search of the best looks. There seems to be a new type of aesthetic, strengthened in the aftermath of the pandemic, more contained, minimal and formal, made of rigorous silhouettes, men's shirts, tailored jackets, interspersed at times with logo denim and patchwork shirts. Having forgotten the excesses of recent seasons, the melting-pot of Milan is looking for a new stylistic identity.
