Finally, the spotlight on European fashion weeks is on. From September 10 to 15 September it was Madrid's turn, that opted for a series of physical shows within the city's Feria, the IFEMA.
As well reported by Highxtar, on the Spanish catwalk, Marcos Luengo stood out with his proposal of feminine, romantic and airy silhouettes; Dominnico's Domingo Rodríguez instead took inspiration from the health emergency and the BLM movement for his collection, while 44Studio wanted to present a timeless capsule, devoted to classic tailoring. Finally, Robber Rodriguez, winner of the award for the best emerging designer, drew inspiration from the Madrid tradition in the creation of clothes made with tablecloths, kits and curtains.
Madrid Fashion Week SS21 was also an opportunity to discover the season's trends and the hottest brands in Spanish street style. Alexander C. Luque photographed for nss magazine the brand new Superstars by Prada x adidas, the coolest accessories by Loewe, the mini monogram bags by Louis Vuitton, alongside those with a vintage flavour by Balenciaga, all matching with colourful, oversized outfits, that between printed shirts and wide tailored trousers still feel like summer.
