We went at the launch of the first Milanese store of MODES

Last night in Milan there was the inauguration of the first concept store of MODES in Piazza Risorgimento, designed by the architect Andrea Caputo. Together with founder Aldo Carpinteri and Alyx Studio's Matthew Williams, Gosha Rubchinskiy attended and presented the third collection for GR-Uniforma, his project halfway between fashion, art and music, and his new collaboration with the brand Mephisto. Along with Gosha there was his band GRUPPA which gave a musical performance. After, the designer stated that "Milan is an increasingly underground city".

More than just a luxury multi-brand retail, the new MODES space wants to be a multipurpose and innovative location, to host events, capsule presentations and initiatives related to art, design and music as well as to launch creative projects and the work of young talents. It was an interesting event, held in an equally interesting space.
