For the S220 collection, Alessandro Dell'Acqua of No.21 wanted to play with transparencies, with light fabrics that leave nothing to imagination, ultra-feminine silhouettes at times even chaste, in opposition to cuts that leave the skin naked. Dell'Acqua drew inspiration from the legendary 1971 Yves Saint Laurent scandal collection, of which the Italian designer is a big fan. Asymmetric cuts, tulle, silk, floral prints and monochromatic looks in neutral tones portray a delicate, graceful but nonetheless bold woman. The creations for the men have as well a feminine and playful touch, perfectly embodied in the look made of leather shorts and a see-through shirt.
Giuseppe Triscari takes us in the backstage of the No. 21 show to the discovery of the best looks of the collection.
