During the Milan Fashion Week, to be precise September 23th, FILA will take the runway for the first time ever in its long history.
The Italian leading brand in sportswear has decided to celebrate this milestone with an exhibition at Triennale di Milano that recounts the originis and the evolution of the label. From the first knitwear factory in Biella, to Björn Borg wearing the WHITE LINE collection, from the National Team's uniforms for 1984 Olympics, to the first basketball sneaker, until now, to tennis player Jelena Jankovic dress.
The exhibition unfolds in different rooms, between video installations, archive photos and original items. The journey ends with a metaphoric runway, where the most iconic FILA pieces are displayed, pieces that were the inspiration for the two creative directors, Antonino Ingrasciotta and Josef Graesel, for the upcoming "Iconic" SS19 collection that will debut at the Fashion Week.
