Diesel x VFiles event during New York fashion week

New York Fashion Week is well underway and we took a stop by the Diesel x VFiles event to check it out.

The Second Wednesday In July event held at VFiles was, what many may call, the ideal opportunity for emerging designers to showcase their designs. In their collaboration with Diesel, Bandulu, Eric Lawrence, Menyelek, and OBLANC were all given the spotlight, and the designers shined bright. 

The collection ranging from $75 - $1000 gave us all the deconstruction, proportion play, and color pop we could ask for, and a very fashionable crowd! New York’s trendsetting youth and visitors in town for fashion week danced for hours as the DJ proceeded to spin an eclectic mix of vogue inducing music and hip-hop.

We are saying hello to the collaborations established brands are willing to partake in with the talented youth of today. It seems as though the barriers are being broken, and fashion no longer solely belongs to the top tier of the industry.
