#FreeTheEggplant Instagram won’t let you search for the eggplant emoji

We all have enthusiastically assimilated the news: it's now possible to hashtag the emojis on Instagram. Or rather, all the emojis except one small purple exception: THE EGGPLANT.

Yes, apparently the poor eggplant was banned by the new update of the social network. The reason? Its association with dicks, which would violate the Amish principles of the community guideline of Instagram.

Obviously, the fact has caused discontent within the healty food lovers - who were already foretasting the extreme vegan tagging - and led to the creation of the insurgent hashtag #FreeTheEggplant, with the hope that Instagram remove censorship from the innocent eggplant.

PS: don't worry, if the eggplant gets life sentence there still remain the banana.
