Golden Goose has created a skatepark in the Venice lagoon
For the last stage of From Venice to Venice
September 7th, 2021
After the announcement of the partnership with Cory Juneau, Golden Goose brought the skateboard directly to the Venice lagoon to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the brand and the 1600 years of the Venetian city. On the occasion of the Venice Film Festival, Golden Goose joined forces with the Bastard skate brand to build a floating skatepark on the waters of the lagoon.
Cory Juneau and a select group of the skate community performed with tricks in a unique bowl, suspended over the water with the incredible eye-catcher that only Venice can offer behind it. From Venice to Venice wants to celebrate the brand's bond with the world of skate, telling the adventure of the American Olympic athlete through three stages on a journey that saw the final step in Venice.
After the performance, the celebrations moved to the Venice Venice Hotel in an absolute preview of a space not yet open to the public where some guests, including skateboarder Rune Glifberg, were able to appreciate the unique location.
