The 10 most streamed games on Twitch
Great classics and few innovations for the Amazon platform that thrived during the pandemic

Among the phenomenons that met unprecedented success during the pandemic, there's definitely Twitch, the live streaming platform owned by Amazon that became popular especially during the first lockdown thanks to its immediacy and simplicity. Some have used it as an alternative to traditional TV, inventing formats with guests and schedules, and those who have continued to use it for their main purpose: video games.
If twitching is a profession, to be carried out it needs an in-depth study of what works and what doesn't work on the platform, in particular which video games are most played, and therefore most followed, on Twitch. A new report from Ebuyer has drawn up a ranking of the fifteen most popular games on the Amazon platform, thus giving us an idea of a market that has never before seen an approach with the world of fashion and beyond. Fortnite, which has now become a container in which both Neymar and Batman can be found, is in the fourth position, with an average of 122 thousand spectators per week, just below the third-placed Call of Duty: Warzone. In second place League of Legends, progenitor of the MOBA genre for years that only two years ago had collaborated with Louis Vuitton, preceded by another classic such as Grand Theft Auto V, first with an average of 334 thousand spectators per week. Only twelfth FIFA 21 has become a point of reference for the game world and the relationship between football and fashion, often welcoming new exclusive jerseys and kits.
Despite a massive presence of video games, Twitch was also the scene of one-of-a-kind events, such as the Dior fashion show staged last December, showing a thousand possibilities offered by the platform.
