Tomorrow will see the opening of the fourth edition of the Skate & Surf Film Festival, the film festival sponsored by Vans dedicated to the international surf and skate scene.
Originally scheduled to be held at BASE Milano on June 12-13-14, 2020, the festival had to re-invent itself to face the needs of this particular moment. And so was born the V-SSFF (Virtual-Skate & Surf Film Festival): three days in streaming on YouTube and on the event's official Vimeo (May 8, May 9, May 10).
Despite the new virtual asset, the program is incredibly rich of films and premieres of short and medium movies, interview with directors and conversations with some professionals from the world of skate (as Enrico Cerovac) and surfers (Andrea Lamorte, Karina Rozunko, Jules Lepecheux, Mathieu Crepel and Lorenzo Castagna), including two special meetings with Vans riders Rowan Zorilla and Pepe Tirelli. Every evening will be opened by a special Live Stream from the headquarter with founder Luca Merli & Davide Martinazzo, who will also welcome different DJ sets by Lele Sacchi, Luca Barcellona and Machete.
"Now more than ever it is important to be there, even if in a completely different way than before: respecting social distance, still without giving up, but supporting our entire community and share a positive message with the public, supporting and entertaining people during the lockdown and keeping active and productive the work we've been doing over the last year" said founder Luca Merli and his staff.
You can find the full program of the festival on its official website.
