KIDZ 2020, the book that showcases the creativity of today's youth
A unique project to discover the most interesting artists of the new generation
December 11th, 2019
A manifesto of the best that young people have to offer or, better yet, "A carte blanche given to 50 young creatives around the world." These are the words that Anna Gardère and Raphaëlle Bellanger use to describe their new book KIDZ 2020.
The project started in 2017 when Raphaelle had the idea for a book about the creatives of her hometown. With the help of her childhood friend, she self-produced KIDZ Paris, a selection of 25 young Parisian portraits, sold at Colette's concept store. Two years later, the adventure continues, reaching international markets and increasing the number of artists. From Athena Paginton to Aidan Cullen, from Samuel De Saboia to Ben Broome, each of them has a double blank page, a real white canvas where they can express everything they want, together with a text written in the first person.
The book is printed on recycled paper, published by Yard and will be published in 1000 numbered copies, sold at a price of €60 in five major cities around the world: Paris, Los Angeles, Toronto, Toronto, London and Tokyo. For the more curious, the @kidzparis account will reveal one page of the book per day.
