"If you are suffering, call a friend or family today. We must save each other."
With these words of despondency and sadness, Lady Gaga announces on Twitter the death of Rick Genest, known as the Zombie Boy, the boy who shocked the world in the video clip of Born This Way showing his fully tattooed body. He had become not only a symbol of Gaga's music video but also a style icon, effortless fashion victim who naturally paraded on Mugler's catwalks, posed for Vogue Japan and presented his face as a testimonial for L'Oreal and Vichy's Dermablend collection.
His body was found dead in his house in Montreal, shocking the web that in a few hours started to share comments and phrases of love.
The same Lady Gaga, dear friend and colleague, writed her thoughts and sent a social message to all those who suffer but do not have the courage to speak:
"The suicide of friend Rick Genest, Zombie Boy is beyond devastating. We have to work harder to change the culture, bring Mental Health to the forefront and erase the stigma that we can’t talk about it."
