Ready to hunt for ectoplasmas?
July 25th, 2018
Have you ever dreamed of wearing a proton backpack as a child and hunting down the evil ghosts that haunt your homes?
Well, if the answer is yes, your desire is going to come true.
In fact, at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, Sony Pictures Entertainment Consumer Products, Ghost Corps and FourThirtyThree Inc. presented Ghostbusters World to the general public.
This is the first video game in augmented reality dedicated to the ghosts created in the '80s by Ivan Reitman. In short, Pokémon Go, but with the ghosts.
The new game, launched this year on iOS and Android, consists of going around the streets or in the meanders of our homes, trying to capture the creature-adversaries, using the integrated AR technologies of our smartphones.
In the "mission" there will be dimensional portals, we can use Proton Pack of different powers and we will have 150 ghosts to capture, many of which are designed and created specifically for the game.
