A tribute to David Bowie in cinema

David Bowie’s fans living in Milan get ready, the biggest cinematographic homage to the artist from Brixton is about to take place thanks to the Fondazione Cineteca Italiana.
From Friday 5 to Thursday 11, 2016 the Spazio Oberdan in Milan will host David Bowie: universal artist, which gathers some of the most representative cinema works dedicated to his figure, both as an actor and as contributor to the soundtrack.
Among the titles we find the iconic Christiane F. (1981), The Hunger (1983), The man who fell to Earth (1976), Absolute beginners (1986) and Basquiat (1996) in which he plays the role of Andy Warhol at the peak of his career.
There will also be two documentaries: David Bowie – Sound and Vision (2007) and David Bowie – Serious Moonlight (1983 – 2001).
