The Chemical Brothers will perform at Sónar Festival 2021
The Barcelona music festival announces the first acts of next year's edition

Among the dozens of events and shows forced to postpone or cancel this year's edition, there is also Sónar Festival. After announcing the digital edition for Sónar+ DCCCB, the conference that usually takes place simultaneously with concerts and the live shows, the iconic Barcelona festival now announces the first acts that will be protagonists of next year's edition.
Today Sónar 2021 announces one of the most highly anticipated electronic shows of the moment – the new live performance by The Chemical Brothers. The legendary British duo formed by Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons will perform in Spain on the evening of Saturday 19th June 2021. Created alongside frequent collaborator Adam Smith, this spectacular and technologically advanced new immersive audiovisual show, will feature their timeless hits alongside highlights of their recent album No Geography - universally recognized as one of the best of their career.
The 27th edition of Sónar Barcelona and the 9th Sónar+D congress will take place on the 17th, 18th and 19th June 2021, at the Fira Montjuïc de Barcelona and Fira Gran Via de L’Hospitalet venues. All ticket types purchased for Sónar 2020 are automatically valid for the new dates of Sónar 2021.
