The great Khalid arrives in Milan

20 years old, 3.5 mln followers on Instagram, an American and European tour almost sold out and a style worth of the best sneakerheads around. Tonight Khalid arrives in Milan and is ready to enchant the crowd at Circolo Magnolia. 

Khalid Robinson, young performer raised in El Paso, Texas, reached success in a very short period of time, by singing about his break ups and high school life. Thanks to the first tracks uploaded on SoundCloud in 2010 he started becoming well-known in Texas, but the turning point for his carrer was the Snapchat video in which Kylie Jenner was listening to one of his songs. After a number of singles immediately included in the global charts (and millions of views on YouTube), in 2017 his first album, American Teen, was released: the record was certified platinum and granted him two Grammy Awards nominations. His sound mixes R&B, soul and hip-hop, gaining the likes of both millennials and adults. Kendrick Lamar called him to work on the Black Panther soundtrack, but Khalid's collaborations include Logic, Lorde, SZA and Ty Dolla $ign, just to name a few. 

Looking at his Instagram profile, it's impossible not to notice Khalid's super cool style. The latest football jersey by Off-White, Vetements sweater, Bape shorts, Gosha long sleeve, everything paired with Supreme accessories: the artist is always up-to-date and mixes the hottest items with taste and minimalism. In addition, Khalid seems to have a thing for Nike sneakers: Nike Monarch, Air Jordan 1, Air Max 1/97 Sean Wotherspoon, Nike Uptempo, Vapormax by Virgil Abloh... he can be totally defined as a sneakerhead. Before the concerts he relaxes in a Versace tracksuit, poses in Colorado with the Balenciaga Speed Sneakers on his feet, runs errands in Beverly Hills with a Gucci waistbag or takes selfies with his fans wearing a Acne Studios turtleneck. Khalid makes no (fashion) mistakes. As proof of his incredible fashion taste, for the merchandise of his tour he collaborated with Champion on a series of T-shirts and sweaters. 

A beautiful voice, a fresh sound and a cool style: Khalid has it all and tonight his "romantic hits" will make the Milanese audience fall in love.
