5 things to do in Milan this weekend From February 28 to March 2

February is coming to an end, and this weekend marks the beginning of March. You can already feel the spring in the air, and Milan has kicked off Fashion Week, bringing a whirlwind of exclusive and exciting events. All these elements together create the perfect ingredients to make the weekend unique, with the help of nss’s guide.

Here are the 5 things to do in Milan this weekend.

To Eat - Veramente

A restaurant where you can taste dishes that have made Italian tradition history, with a menu that unites the north and south of the country, from homemade pici to eggplant parmigiana. At Veramente, you won't find overly complicated recipes or unnecessary frills, but rather an authentic cuisine that focuses primarily on the quality of ingredients. The venue also features a retro atmosphere: a step back into the Seventies, enhanced by the lighting and vintage photographs.

Via Palermo, 11

To Chill - Chicchi d’autore

Chicchi d’autore is more than just an artisan pastry shop: it’s a romantic place where every dessert has a deep connection with literature and draws inspiration from the pages of a book. You can find a wide selection of cakes, from classics to more original ones, as well as cupcakes, pastries, and cookies made with passion. Additionally, it is also a café where you can enjoy breakfast, have a quick lunch, or relax with an aperitif in a refined and cozy setting.

Via delle Forze Armate, 70

To Shop - Wunder Mrkt

Wunder Mrkt, the vintage and craft market by Le Cannibale, returns in March at Spirit de Milan, a scenic location set within a former factory in Bovisa. The event will host over a hundred exhibitors from all over Italy, offering a vast selection of clothing, accessories, design items, vinyl records, posters, and much more. Visitors can also enjoy food and drinks, a DJ set, and activities organized for children.

Via Bovisasca, 57/59

To Discover - Cristóbal Balenciaga: Shoes From Spain Tribute

In the historic Palazzo Morando, until March 2, the first Italian monographic exhibition dedicated to Spanish designer Cristóbal Balenciaga comes to life. The exhibition, set up by Elisa Ossino Studio, will highlight the immense talent of the couturier with some of his most representative garments, sourced from museum and private collections. The designs are complemented by ribboned ballet flats and heeled shoes created specifically by twenty-five Spanish footwear companies.

Via Sant'Andrea, 6

To Party- AVAVAV Afterparty

What better way to close Milan Fashion Week than with an nssedicola party? On Sunday, March 2, from 8:00 PM, join us at DRKMilano for the after-party of AVAVAV. Making the night even more special will be DJ sets by TOCCORORO and TRRRMOTO, playing until 2 AM.
