Looking for an original and warm activity for next week? Ciné-Mailles invites you to a unique evening where knitting, crocheting, and chatting blend with the magic of cinema. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, this is the perfect opportunity to share your passion in a friendly atmosphere. This innovative concept is brought to you by Ciné-Mailles, a cinema club born from the collaboration between the Studio des Ursulines and the Club Crochet Tricot Paris. The latter regularly organizes meetups in parks and cafés, bringing together yarn enthusiasts to knit and crochet together. For this occasion, it is exceptionally taking over the Ursulines in the 5th arrondissement, transforming the venue into a true creative cocoon.

Starting at 7 PM, the herbal tea bar opens its doors for a moment of exchange and relaxation before the screening. You can bring your favorite mug and tea to share with other yarn and needle enthusiasts. It’s a great opportunity to meet people, swap tips, and discover new inspirations over a warm drink. The next sessions will take place on Wednesday 26, Thursday 27, and Friday 28 February 2025, featuring the iconic film Little Women by Greta Gerwig. To ensure a smooth and pleasant experience, the French-dubbed version will be shown, allowing knitters and crocheters to focus on their work without following subtitles. Prices are €6.80 on-site and €7.20 online. Unfortunately, tickets are already sold out, but given the enthusiasm for these evenings, new dates may soon be announced. Knitting and crocheting have seen a real boom in recent years, especially during lockdown, and this trend has not faded. Far more than just a hobby, these activities have soothing benefits, promoting concentration and reducing stress. So why knit or crochet alone at home when you can do it surrounded by people who share your passion?
