September 20th, 2024
The week is coming to an end and the weekend is on the horizon. The summer festivities and beautiful weather continue post-back-to-school; it’s time to enjoy the mild temperatures by venturing out of your cocoon. Now more than ever, the streets are buzzing with activities to satisfy all tastes. Discover what the city has in store for you this weekend.
Where to eat: At Sola for dinner or takeout
In his cozy refuge near the Seine, Kosuke Nabeta, former chef of the Maison du Saké, continues to shake up the Parisian gastronomic scene. At Sola, he reinterprets French terroir with a Japanese twist, in a style that is both controlled and minimalist. Here, the omakase menu plays the card of the unexpected, where each bite becomes poetic, served in ceramics crafted by Nabeta himself. But Sola doesn’t stop there. Just steps from the restaurant, the chef has opened Sola Cave et Céramiques, a space that mixes table art and liquid pleasures. Rare teas, refined sakes, natural wines: all within a medieval cellar that will also feature an omakase-style table d’hôte. A complete experience, where the handmade tableware by Nabeta and various artisans will shine as brightly as the dishes, providing a total immersion in the chef's universe.

Where to have fun: At an end of summer party at At Dawn
As summer comes to a close, At Dawn invites you to an evening that promises to leave a mark. On September 21, head to 13 Rue de Picardie for an end of summer party. Expect to discover a curated selection of clothing for men and women, blending rare vintage pieces with a decidedly contemporary look. All staged by Jade Nelis, whose set design will transform the space into a living tableau. Seka will set the vibe with a DJ set perfect for exploring the collection while sipping drinks and tasting Asian snacks that will take your palate on a journey. For the record, At Dawn was born in 2020 when Alyssa and Matthieu, both from luxury backgrounds, decided to hunt for vintage treasures. Their boutique is a manifesto for a fashion liberated from fleeting trends, where each piece tells a story and where discovery reigns. Their mission? Redefine vintage fashion, infusing it with a dose of boldness and modernity. Through their finds, they create a space where one can reinvent themselves, explore their style, and most importantly, assert themselves. This evening is an opportunity to dive into their universe — a bridge between past and future, where fashion becomes a language without borders.

Where to shop: At Clarks Originals with Témalagraine
It's finally here: on September 21, 2024, Clarks and Témalapaire unveil a capsule that will make the bourgeois bohemians of the capital pale. Témalapaire, or “the influencer” who perfectly blends style, humor, pop culture, and a hint of Daft Punk mystery, has struck again. With his 60,000 followers hooked on his punchlines and looks, he has become the one to watch. The iconic duo presents Témalagraine, an ode to this Parisian elite who cling to their carabiner as much as to their matcha latte. Two exclusive pairs of Wallabees emerge: the Belleville Expresso for strong coffee lovers, and the Marais Matcha for fans of frothy green teas. Each is a nod to the terrace regulars who mix conversations about brutalist architecture with Frank Ocean vinyls. The price? €160. Head to Big Shot Coffee this Saturday to grab your pair before they all disappear.
