5 things to do in Paris this week-end
From July 26 to 28
July 25th, 2024
On the eve of the Olympic Games tide, Paris seems unusually calm. As the week comes to an end and the weekend looms on the horizon, summer festivities and good weather have made a grand return to put an end to our springtime woes. It is high time to enjoy the mild temperatures and long days by venturing out of our cocoons. More than ever, the streets are buzzing with activities to satisfy all tastes (and tourists). Discover now what the city has in store for you on this sporty weekend.
Where to Eat: Chez Chop Chop
Starting today, Chop Chop is moving to continuous service from noon to midnight. Whether you have a lunch craving, a small afternoon hunger, or a late dinner, you can now sit down at any hour. Located in Strasbourg-Saint-Denis, in the heart of the 10th arrondissement of Paris, this intimate spot with white stone walls and wooden decor has become, in just one year, the go-to place for the new creative fauna of Paris. More than just a wine bar, it’s a true multicultural hub where young talents in fashion, art, design, and culture gather to share convivial moments around good food and tasty drinks. The trio behind Chop Chop Love, Ismaël Jmili, Julien Pham, and Ramy Ndione, offers a warm and relaxed welcome just a stone's throw (literally) from the famous Chope des Artistes. Though its big sister is temporarily closed due to a controversial decision by the 10th arrondissement police station, rest assured: a part of the team is still in Marseille, where they are running a four-handed pop-up at the restaurant Le Magnolia.

Where to Shop: At Mimouni's
Recently discovered during its pop-up at Azur Garage, this brand founded by Camille Mimouni is one of our current favorites. Four years ago, he organized his first show titled "Le Veilleur de Nuit" where, at just 19 years old, he was already celebrating the women of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. His aesthetic has since evolved, reflecting his changing tastes and the affirmation of his artistic personality. Each of his collections is accompanied by a visual support, such as a book or a video, on which Mimouni does not hesitate to collaborate with other emerging artists. His latest collection focuses on denim, with a model of Jort "perfect for summer". Made in his Parisian workshop, this denim short is inspired by vintage American jeans, using fabrics sourced from fashion houses. Styles include variations like washed, Japanese raw, soft raw, leopard, and other colors like gray and purple. Designed to be durable, this denim is ideal for exploring the city, wearing out, and combining in multiple ways. A must for this summer, to be worn with long socks for cooler days or with tights and kitten heels to glam it up.
