5 things to do in Milan this weekend
From 5 to 7 July
July 5th, 2024
Despite this summer Milan being in a panic due to bad weather, the city still manages to surprise us with a calendar full of festivals, concerts, open-air cinema, and pop-up stores. So, even those unfortunate enough not to be just a few meters from the sea during the entire summer season can find moments of leisure in the city. As every week, we have gathered the best weekend proposals, a list rich in unique experiences that might be just right for you.
Here are, therefore, 5 things to do in Milan this weekend, from July 5 to 7:
Where to eat in Milan - Alegre
Alegre opened this spring in Via Watt, in a music production studio, Moysa. The venue offers dinners, cocktails, coffee, and even a private club, but the initiative stems from a social idea: in a serene and elegant environment, it is possible to meet new people and interact with minds different from one's own, a unique opportunity to be part of Milan's creative scene in front of a good dish or drink. The menu features a selection of international dishes created with local and seasonal ingredients, carefully crafted by chef Matteo Gritti.

What to visit in Milan - Short Out Festival
This Wednesday saw the start of the third edition of the Short Out Festival, an event dedicated to short films that will continue throughout the weekend in the charming Villa Litta in Lainate. Born as an initiative to promote the peripheral spaces of large cities like Milan, Short Out represents an alternative experience for all those who want to escape the urban chaos. The calendar includes screenings, an interactive exhibition, stands for food and drink, a corner for a swap party, and much more. All this in the splendid spaces of a 16th-century villa, among gardens and frescoes.

Where to relax in Milan - Bagni Misteriosi
If the weather permits, this weekend could be the perfect time to discover the pools of the Bagni Misteriosi, a summer oasis in the heart of the city where you can cool off or sunbathe. For those who are not fans of swimming, while the pools are open from 10 am to 6 pm, from 7 pm onwards, the Bagni Misteriosi spaces organize a "barefoot aperitif" to enjoy a cocktail by the pool.
Via Botta, 18A
Where to shop in Milan - Shook!
Milan has recently seen the opening of Shook!, the city's first Blind Box Store. Dolls and toys of all imaginable sizes and styles are hidden inside boxes of various sizes. They can only be discovered once purchased, a feature that makes the shopping experience at Shook! truly unique.
Viale Pasubio, 16
Where to have fun in Milan - Geolier Live
This weekend, a new stop of Geolier's tour arrives in Rho. One of the most followed Italian rappers in recent years, Geolier has become a reference point for Italian urban music. With his latest album "Il coraggio dei bambini", the Neapolitan rapper has achieved 65 platinum records and 30 golds. After participating in the last edition of the Sanremo Festival with I p' me, tu p' te, Geolier is ready to rock with his audience in an exhilarating tour.
