5 things to do in Milan this weekend From June 14 to 16

As every week, we have gathered the best pastimes to discover in Milan during the weekend, a small list of things to do. The fashion week is coming, coinciding with the start of the highly anticipated Euro 2024, a week dedicated to fashion and football, which in a certain sense, rhyme with Milan.

Here are 5 things to do in Milan this weekend, from June 14 to 16.

Where to eat - The Football Pub

Italy - Albania, scheduled for Saturday at 9:00 PM, opens the Azzurri's European Championship. An important match for the Italian National Team that will symbolize a rebirth after missing out on Qatar 2022. The eleven coached by Luciano Spalletti, however, take the field as the reigning European champions, ready to relive the magical nights of summer 2021. If you love football or just want to follow the National Team for pure folklore, The Football Pub is the place for you.

What to visit - SUPERMARKETTE

From the experience of Spacedelicious, the branding agency, themed gastronomic events, and guide to culinary specialties throughout Italy, the founder and creative director Maurizio Tentella launches a new project born around a combination of food, images, and words that go straight from the supermarket to the table. SUPERMARKETTE is also the title of the exhibition that opens to the public from June 13 to 30, 2024, with eight new works at Galleria Lampo in Milan, a space that retains the industrial architecture of the former Scalo Farini. SUPERMARKETTE is a trip inside an artistic supermarket made of new, non-existent authentic products. Maurizio Tentella, a culinary critic with a transformative spirit, wanted to make his thoughts visible thanks to the hands of artist Alessandro Pizzuti. SUPERMARKETTE aims to be a fast lane towards reflections on our diet, a judgment on what we buy and eat daily. A game of thoughts stemming from his professional culinary research, the constant study of raw materials, and the passion for the mastery of Italian culinary traditions, then transformed into provocative works by artist Alessandro Pizzuti.

Open from morning until evening, the place has just launched a new offering: breakfast, to start the day admiring the city from above. Croissants, pain au chocolat, and pastries are prepared by pastry chef Matteo Teolato.

Where to shop - Giacas Archive

On Saturday, on the occasion of Italy's first match at Euro 2024, Giacas Archive is organizing a day dedicated to the world of sports memorabilia. From 3:00 PM, the archive will open its doors where you can find jerseys or memorabilia of all kinds, true relics. Famous collectors will be there to sell and trade their items, and from 8:30 PM, everyone will prepare for the Azzurri's match.
