Swatch and VERDY introduce Vick Bronze at the Venice Biennale

At the new edition of the Biennale Arte 2024, Swatch presents an extraordinary collaboration with the famous Japanese graphic artist VERDY, a new project that merges art and fashion to create unique experiences. The partnership has given rise to a work of art and a limited edition watch, named Vick Bronze By VERDY. At the heart of the Swiss watch brand's new project is Vick, a character born from the creative mind of the Japanese artist, representing an unusual fusion of a panda and a rabbit to embody symbols of positivity, peace, longevity, and abundance. As confirmed by the characteristic Anarchy logo on its belly, Vick is a lover of music and punk style. Prior to the Biennale Arte 2024, the charming character was known exclusively in black and white, but now makes its debut in a new colorway, brighter and more dynamic.

At the Giardini della Biennale Arte 2024, an imposing 4-meter bronze Vick will welcome visitors with its positive and overwhelming presence, an artwork that does not go unnoticed, designed to reflect Swatch's innovation in the world of contemporary art. Vick Bronze By VERDY will also come to life in a limited edition Swatch watch, a 34 mm GENT model presented in an opulent black package with gold details that personify Vick's warm personality. The watch dial and strap are embellished with the iconic image of VERDY's character, becoming a collector's item. The watch created by Swatch in collaboration with the artist hides a surprising detail that adds character to the GENT model. In Vick Bronze By VERDY, the character's tongue changes color every day, from orange to red, pink, and yellow, adding a touch of originality to an already extravagant and unique design.
