5 things to do in Milan this weekend
April 5 to 7
April 5th, 2024
Spring has finally arrived in Milan and staying indoors, frankly, doesn't suit anyone anymore. It's better to get out and explore the city, visit and explore without vegetating too much at home as we did in the past months. The city, in preparation for the upcoming Design Week, offers a lot, a whole lot - the problem lies in finding it, in separating what's worth it from what could be boring instead. So it's better to rely on the right advice to explore the infinite possibilities that Milan has to offer.
So here are 5 things to do in Milan this weekend.
Where to Eat in Milan – La Società
La Società, a restaurant inaugurated in 2019, recently caught our attention with its cozy and relaxed atmosphere, despite its status as a high-class gourmet venue. The ambiance is exceptional, characterized by three rooms, each with colorful wallpaper and vintage family photos on the walls. A must-try dish is the caponata with amberjack, where the freshness of the ceviche blends with the sweetness of eggplant fried in bread.

What to Explore in Milan – MEGAPIXEL Festival
From April 5th to 7th, 2024, Milan will host the first edition of the MEGAPIXEL Festival, an event designed to showcase the vibrant creative scene of the city. Organized by The Method, an agency specialized in communication strategies and creative campaigns, the festival aims to spread its influence beyond traditional boundaries to celebrate Milan's artistic industry. Thanks to the experience of founders Federico Mulas and Fabiola Miccone, the neighborhoods of Ticinese, Nolo, Bullona, and Città Studi will become lively stages for a weekend full of workshops, talks, screenings, and performances. Many events will be free, but registration will be mandatory to ensure a rewarding and educational experience. With the concept of "Creative Sap," the festival aims to nurture artistic thought by exploring the various nuances of the sector, from innovations related to artificial intelligence to 3D modeling.
