The London Design Week according to Ozwald Boateng and Poltrona Frau
Seating, lifestyle accessories, fabrics, and wallpapers that celebrate the Culture & Craft style

The London Design Week is an important stage, which is why Poltrona Frau decided to collaborate with Ozwald Boateng, a menswear designer from Savile Row, to create a new collection of seating, lifestyle accessories, fabrics, and wallpapers that celebrate the Culture & Craft style. It is the first time the British-Ghanaian creative has ventured into the interior and furniture sector, and he couldn't have chosen a better partner. Poltrona Frau's approach is very similar to Boateng's own in the production and creation of clothing.
British tailoring expertise thus combines with the Made in Italy craftsmanship of Poltrona Frau to create a collection that features two undisputed gems of the brand: the Chester sofa and armchair, and the Vanity Fair armchair, along with new accessories in the Beautilities category. The Tribal motif, Ozwald Boateng's true signature, is present in all the products of the collection. The designer added, «The opportunity to bring my expertise in men's menswear into the world of furniture has always been an aspiration of mine. Finding the perfect partner who shares my vision and values has been a true journey.»
In short, the creative touch is very much evident. To give an example that illustrates the meticulousness used by Boateng himself, it's important to emphasize that the Chester line has been "dressed" by Ozwald Boateng in three versions: Classic Chester, Chester Line, and Chester One, with the new covering featuring the Tribal motif, designed by the designer. The motif has been applied using the hot embossing technique on Pelle Frau Nubuck, a process that has been improved and perfected by the research and development team of designers and specialists.
