St-Germain presents Garden Tales, an immersive experience in the heart of Milan
Leave all distractions behind and explore the natural oasis of Cascina Cuccagna
July 13th, 2023
Last week we were invited by St-Germain to take part in Garden Tales, the event designed by the spirits brand to take its customers on a sensory journey capable of making them forget, if only for a moment, the frenetic pace of Milan, breaking away from the daily routine to immerse themselves in new human relationships in the company of a perfect St-Germain Hugo. At Cascina Cuccagna, a green oasis in the heart of Porta Romana, an installation has been created in collaboration with the artist Duilio Forte, a place where authenticity thrives and new relationships blossom, through a workshop designed to explore sociality in an authentic way, offering a special refuge connected to nature, where an experience can be shared with others.
In the bustling metropolis of Milan, the Social Experience by St-Germain awaits all who wish to participate. Until October 15, it will be possible to reserve one of the six seats available for each 30-minute time slot by inviting guests to enter the installation. Before entering, each participant will be asked to leave his or her cell phone in a special area to avoid distractions. Amidst the greenery and sounds of nature, an innovative game will then be launched: once inside, guests will be served a special St-Germain Hugo, on which will be placed a personalized playing card with a series of questions, perfect for breaking the ice. In turn, guests will answer the questions by telling their fellow guests about themselves, a moment that can be captured thanks to the instant cameras provided for guests to take up to ten photos. The only rule is to add one of the photos to a mural in front of the Social Garden, thus sharing a fragment of happiness with others.
Produced using the French artisanal method, using only fresh, hand-picked elderflowers, St-Germain is famous not only for its quality but also for its packaging: a representation of its artisanal nature and pride in its French origins. In fact, the compact octagonal bottle is a tribute to the vibrancy of Art Deco and the Belle Époque in the Parisian neighborhood of St. Germain des Prés. In addition, each bottle is adorned with an individually numbered cloisonné enamel "coin" bearing the year of production. Further proof of the quality of St-Germain and its link to the raw material.
