New artists making their debut at the festival include Caroline Polachek and King Krule
February 1st, 2023
Italy's largest indoor electronic music festival is returning to Turin for its 21st edition. The line-up announced by the organisers features artists of international calibre, such as Flying Lotus, King Krule, Overmono, Yves Tumor and many others, who will tread the boards of Contemporary Art Week from 2 to 5 November.
This autumn's event is full of expectations, especially following the success of the 20th edition of the festival, which counted 35,000 participants, setting a new all-time record. The central theme this year will be the world, which will be taken as a point of inspiration for the characteristic transdisciplinary avant-garde productions that have always made C2C a unique space.
Among the artists already announced is Caroline Polachek, the New York-based performer who has topped the global charts in recent years with singles such as 'So Hot You're Hurting my Feelings', and who at C2C will be celebrating her new album, out on Valentine's Day, 'Desire, I Want to Turn Into You'. In addition to Polachek, new talents are added to the programme list, who will debut on the festival stage bringing a wave of originality, from the jazzy notes of London-based singer-songwriter King Krule, to the melodies of Catalan pianist Marina Herlop, the reggaetón of Colombian group Sangre Nueva and the powerful energy of Nick León's remixes, the Miami-based DJ who counts among his countless collaborations with internationally renowned artists that of Rosalía on her latest album Motomami.
