January 23rd, 2017
Calvin Klein is not only about iconic underwear and jeans - it’s about so much more. Now it's "By Appointment". A new label inspired by couture celebrating the American woman and American fashion, the cheerleader, the debutante, the majorette. A new project consisting of fourteen look all united by pop and playful and pragmatism made in USA, available by appointment only from April 1 in the New York brand showroom by reservation. Raf Simons made his debut as Calvin Klein in gently and decided way, showing by the social new brand's chapter with the launch of an advertising campaign that has as protagonists, photographed by Willy Vanderperre, the Eleven of Stranger Things Millie Bobby Brown and the models Abbey Lee, Julia Nobis, Lineisy Montero, Kiki Willems, Natalie Westling, Selena Forrest and Samantha Eldridge. No more famous it girls like Hadid sisters and Kendall Jenner, no more lolitas as Brooke Shileds or Kate Moss, the Belgian designer abandons sensual and provocative mood that marked CK until now to embrace a traditional, tailoring sensibility. It's a new era and Raf Simons is its king.
