Gucci presents "Blind for Love"
The coffee table book Cruise Collection's images
November 29th, 2016
Last June Gucci presented its Cruise Collection in the cloister of Westminster Abbey, a symbol of British tradition. Now that show becomes "Blind for Love", a coffee table book that features backstage’s shots realized by Nick Waplington, the photographer that documented "Horn of Plenty”, Alexander McQueen’s FW09 collection.
Waplington said to Telegraph: “Alessandro is a joy to work with as his enthusiasm is evident at all times when he is present in the studio. This, of course, creates an atmosphere which enables me, in turn, to create something special with the camera when we are working together”. The cover of this coffee table book features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth I. This new book, in limited edition of 1,000 copies, will cost £60 and will be sold since 1 December at Assouline boutiques, and at selected multi-brand stores, like the Palais de Tokyo and Colette, Dover Street Market, and much more.
