Tomorrow presents the consumers favourite annual holiday: Black Friday. The tradition originated in America in the 1930’s and it marks the beginning of the Christmas shopping period; eventually making its way across the pond into the United Kingdom and many European countries. Although, due to online shopping, most people are now able to get their hands on Black Friday steals and releases!
That’s enough about the history of Black Friday, we now present you some of the hottest streetwear related sneaker and clothing releases that you’ll find tomorrow!
CLOTHING RELEASES
Palace 2016 Winter “Ultimo” Drop
London based skateboard label, Palace Skateboards, recently unveiled their “Ultimo” collection that will be available Black Friday in-store and online. The collection features thinsulate bomber jackets, Tupac jumpers, bar towels and graphic printed work pants; all items which scream retro sportswear and rave culture. Patta Winter 2016 Tracksuit Collection
Patta have made huge moves in the last year: opening their second store in London, collaborating with Carhartt WIP and released solid collections. This tracksuit release is inspired by comfortable essentials and classic sport silhouettes, which is becoming more and more prevalent in streetwear. The tracksuits are available in olive green and teal, with Patta’s logo embroidered on the chest. They will be available in-store, in London and Amsterdam, and online on Black Friday.
Kid Cudi’s Merch
In the wake of Black Friday, Kid Cudi has decided to make his fans happy by releasing some brand new merchandise. The line will include a series of t-shirts, as well as a black pullover hoodie.
SNEAKER RELEASES
Nike Air Jordan 3 “True Blue”
This is arguable one of Jordan brands most popular models and colourway since its introduction in 1988; meaning the True Blue 3 is set to be a popular release. The “True Blue” hasn’t seen a re-release since 2011, so true fans of Jordan brand have been waiting very patiently. This model features an all-white leather upper with hits of blue throughout and signature elephant print. The sneaker will be available at multiple retailers including Foot Patrol and Nike.
Saucony x Extra Butter Shadow 5000 “For The People”
Saucony continue their on-going relationship with New York based retailer, Extra Butter, in the form of the Shadow 5000. The sneaker features: an all-blue leather upper, white midsole, white heel and traditional Saucony branding. Expect this sneaker to be made with premium materials in mind, as we have seen from previous collaborations between the pair! The Shadow 5000 will be available Black Friday at Extra Butter locations and online.
adidas NMD XR1 Blue Duck Camo/Pink Duck Camo
The NMD XR1 is a women’s exclusive release that will give you the choice of either Duck Camo patterns; pink or navy blue. As with many NMD models, this XR1 comes in all-mesh upper that sits upon adidas’ infamous BOOST sole; so expect a drop of hype. This sneaker will be available from retailers such as adidas and End Clothing.
ADIDAS NMD XR1 in “Vapour Grey/Ice Purple-Off-White”
In addition to the Blue Duck Camo and the Pink Duck Camo and, for NMD lovers the surprises are not over. On Black Friday will be launched other five colours including our favorite, "Vapour Grey/Purple Ice-Off-White".

As a beloved silhouette from adidas, the Gazelle breathes vintage and retro if that’s what you’re looking for.. The Gazelle has been modernised and brought up to speed. It has been fitted with some of adidas’ latest innovative technology including a Gore Tex invisible lining which acts as a waterproof barrier and protects from dirt and abrasion. It will be available in all-red suede upper with black accents, upon a lovely gum sole. The sneaker will be available on Black Friday from Size?.
