The lucky few who attend the international fashion shows every season, besides being the first ones to discover the creations of talented designers, are also lucky because they have the chance to enter dreamy locations, often closed to the public during the remaining days of the year.
In addition to clothing and accessories, set design is what can make a show spectacular (and Instagram-friendly), and big Houses know that well. Just think of the majestic Cruise shows set up by Gucci, Chanel, Dior or Louis Vuitton, which in recent years have even led their guests to exotic locations such as Cuba, Seoul, Tokyo, Dubai and Rio de Janeiro, just to name a few.
The set design can help the viewer dive into the mood of a collection even before the clothes are actually revealed, turning the show into a multisensory experience.
