Gucci Cruise 2017 is a tribute to the British Countryside

Yesterday, a few minutes after its publication, the video campaign for Gucci Cruise 2017 collection directed by Glen Luchford became viral.
Today, the House led by Alessandro Michele has released the images of the campaign, shot by the same Luchford at Chatsworth House, in the English countryside near Sheffield.
The collection featured in the shots is the one from last June’s show at Westminster Abbey in London, a tribute to the history of the UK, the punk of the Sex Pistols and Vivienne Westwood, but also to the royal family and the seventeenth-century playwriter Aphra Behn.
The models, along with British actress Vanessa Redgrave (Mrs. Dalloway, The House of the Spirits, Girl, Interrupted) ride horses, collect flowers, have picnics, relax on beautiful Victorian beds in an ancient villa which is the quintessence of Michele’s style, opulent and steeped in art history.
A perfect blend of aristocracy and rock'n'roll, on the eve of the brand’s SS17 show which will inaugurate Milan Women's Fashion Week tomorrow at 2.30 pm.
