Diesel's FW16 campaign is all about youth and diversity

On a day when all the spotlight is on Tokyo, where Diesel staged a fashion show to celebrate its first 30 years in Japan, Nicola Formichetti has released his FW16 campaign for the brand, inspired by the slogan launched by Renzo Rosso in the '90s: 'For Successful Living'.
The images, taken by Terry Richardson’s irreverent lens, are an explosion of colours and energy and have as protagonists street casted boys and girls – faces who celebrate today's youth in all its forms.
“More than ever, we need a positive message in this crazy world we live in. And Diesel is probably the only brand that can have such a strong point of view – it always has. We were looking to the original For Successful Living advert that Renzo did in the 90s.” said Formichetti about the campaign, which also includes a series of rules to be part of the Diesel crew.
A hymn to diversity and creativity in an industry that, sometimes, takes itself too seriously.
