The rebirth of a timeless icon

The Gazelle is back. You have certainly noticed it while scrolling through your Instagram feed, reading the news on the latest street style trends or just walking down the streets of your city.
To celebrate the comeback of this timeless icon, adidas Originals has asked young collage artist Dough Abraham to rework a photo of Kate Moss in 1993 wearing her Gazelle in a cherry-coloured version.
Yoox.com, e-commerce giant Made in Italy, has partnered with nss for a special project: a makeover of their website’s homepage in the form of interactive tribute to the Gazelle.
The protagonists chosen for the occasion are Patricia Manfield, influencer and musician currently working on her first studio album, and Greta Scarano, promising talent of Italian cinema.
In Milan, they posed together in front of Lara Giliberto’s lens, while our video maker Vincenzo Schioppa shot the behind the scenes of the project.
Spanish collage artist Alva Galím has then unleashed her creativity reworking the shots through an original cut and paste of images.
The result has been unveiled today. You can check it out here.
