Louis Vuitton Journées Particulières 2016

The registrations for the third edition of the Journées Particulières, the special days supported by LVMH which allow the public to visit some of the production sites of exception of the Group, open on May 2nd. These places represent the best of craft tradition, that, in an age dominated by digital technology, highlight and celebrate the experience and craftsmanship of the artisans that create every day the luxury objects that end up in the boutiques of the Group's brands.

Louis Vuitton has chosen to take part in the initiative again. In Italy you can visit the Atelier of Fiesso D'Artico – also known as the "Land of the shoe" – which, in addition to the production centre, gathers inside a design office, an art gallery and a training centre. Once arrived at the factory, visitors will have access to the entire creative process, from the designs to the realisation of the models.

In France visitors will instead have the chance to visit Louis Vuitton in Asnières, Louis Vuitton workshops in Saint-Florence in Vandée, and the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, the cultural centre established by the brand in 2014 under the creative direction of Nicolas Ghesquière.
