H&M e M.I.A together for World Recycle Week

From April 18 to 24, H&M invites you to bring your used clothes in every store of the brand around the world. In return, you’ll receive vouchers for a discount on your next purchase. The goal? Collecting 1,000 piles of used clothing brought in by customers worldwide in over 3,600 retail outlets.

For the occasion M.I.A has released Rewear It, exclusive song and video where people of different ethnicities dance together to raise public awareness on the environmental impact of used clothes that end up in landfills.

From 2013, when H&M launched Garment Collecting, the initiative that allows customers to bring clothes and textiles they don’t want anymore in store, more than 25 thousand piles of clothing have been collected and transformed into textile fibres, recycled and used to produce new items.
