Nike launches the new Nike Air Max LD Zero H
By Hiroshi Fujiwara
March 18th, 2016
March is a month full of surprises, especially for Nike. Getting ready for Air Max Day, the brand is launching initiatives and new releases, always drawing inspiration from its archives and most significant projects.
The HTM team joined the Air Max celebration by adding a new silhouette: Hiroshi Fujiwara has created a model that reflects his personality and his contribution to this long-term partnership: the Nike Air Max LD Zero H.
By exploring the archives, Hiroshi wanted to create something innovative with an impact also on who is interested in the most classic models. The designer was inspired by a running sneaker dating 1973, the Boston (that preceded the birth of the LD-1000) and the result is a mix between the upper of Boston and the Air Max 2014 sole - which gives a cushioning characterized by extreme lightness and flexibility. After experimenting with different materials, Hiroshi chose nylon and suede combination, which along with the blue give the shoe a classical and essential aesthetic. The Flywire technology provides maximum adaptability and optimum support.
Available from March 19 on nike.com/airmax and from Air Max Day at select retailers.
