Grace Coddington launches a perfume with COMME des GARÇONS

What happens when the most iconic fashion editor of all times meets an avant-garde Japanese brand? According to the latest collaboration between Grace Coddington and COMME des GARÇONS, a perfume comes out.
The fragrance, resulting from a mix of peach blossom, white musk, and amber crystal–spiked Moroccan rose absolute, is inspired by the smell of roses which has accompanied Coddington throughout her adolescence in the British countryside: “My mother had a rose garden, and it just never occurred to me to smell like any other smell except rose” she told Vogue.com.
The bottle is inspired instead by Grace biggest passion – apart from fashion, of course: felines. The container, designed by Fabien Baron, has the shape of a cat, very similar to the ones Grace usually draws on her notebooks.
Grace by Grace Coddington will be on sale starting from April 19 at Dover Street Market.
