Fashion brands have developed a growing dependency on social networks, so much that every day many international houses choose these virtual channels to convey exclusive contents, or broadcast their fashion shows in real time (see Tommy Hilfiger and Burberry on Snapchat).
However, it’s the first time an App to flirt online – read Grindr, the most diffused one among the gay people of the whole world – is elected to broadcast a show in streaming. Who could have thought of it if not the avant-garde Irish designer JW Anderson, become famous for his genderless fashion?
Grindr’s regular clients stay alert: on Sunday morning at 10 am you’ll receive a link through which you’ll be able to virtually assist to the first show of the third day of LCM. It’s the first time the App experiments with a fashion content. Forecasting the success the initiative will get – and the inscriptions done in order to enter the content – it’s very likely to be just the first of a long series.
