If for the presentations of the Ready to wear and Couture collections Chanel has always been faithful to the city of Paris, for the Métiers d'Art and Cruise shows the House is literally exploring the globe.
The latest stop of the trip has been Rome – specifically Cinecittà – which yesterday night has been the theatre of the Métiers d'Art show of the brand. The chosen studio was of course the n°5 – an homage to the most popular fragrance of the House – and inside it a Paris in the 30s has been recreated complete with brasserie, bakery, flower shop, benches, trees and a metro station.
On the runway the most iconic models of the moment – Jamie Bochert, Mica Arganaraz, Stella Lucia, Freja Beha Erichsen, Bella Hadid, Lara Stone, Lindsey Wixon ect. – walked along some of Karl's favourite boys: Baptiste Giabiconi, Sébastien Jondeau, Brad Kroenig and his little son Hudson, who for the occasion gave customized newspaper to the guests.
