James Long is Iceberg's men new creative director
November 13th, 2015
There's much going on at Iceberg this year. After Arthur Arbesser’s appointment as creative director of the women’s collections of the House last June, another young talent is entering the Italian brand founded by Silvano Gerani and Giuliana Marchini in 1974.
It’s James Long, 34-year-old British designer, since 2011 at the helm of his eponymous men’s line which shows up every season on the occasion of the London Collections Men.
“The sportswear aesthetic, the innovative way of approaching jersey, the passion for prints and the use of technical materials make James Long the right designer for the Iceberg’s man, carrying on the brand’s dna made of research, craftsmanship, colour and quality Made in Italy” affirmed Paolo Gerani, CEO of the Gilmar’s group, to which Iceberg belongs.
We'll see him at work with the AW16/17 collection in Milan soon.
