A movie about John Casablancas is in the making
The inventor of Supermodels
November 5th, 2015
At a time when the beauty standards on the runways are radically changing, a figure like John Casablancas – founder of Elite Model Management – raises of course a certain interest. Disappeared in July 2013 in Rio de Janeiro, John founded the first Elite agency in Paris in 1972. He’s the responsible for the invention of the concept of supermodel, and the genesis of many of them: Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell are just a few.
John transformed his love for women into a millionaire profession, nothing more fascinating and modern. Now Realitism Film has decided to produce a movie about his story – Casablancas, the man who loved women – which offers an original look into the salient phases of his life, and of course his work.
