Miu Miu Women’s Tales #10

Miu Miu has never hidden its strong connection with art in all its manifestations. As well as Prada, belonging to the same group, which counts two Art Foundations, one in Venice and one in Milan.

On the occasion of Venice Film Festival it has been presented yesterday the 10th chapter of Miu Miu Women’s Tales, the series of short movies produced by Miu Miu and directed by women, for the women. This time the author is Agnès Varda, today 87-year-old, among the protagonists of the revolutionary French Nouvelle Vague in the 50s.

The short film, titled “Les 3 Boutons” (The 3 Buttons) has as protagonist the debuting Jasmine Thiré and has been shot between Bonnieux (Provence) and the street of Paris Varda has been living in for 50 years, rue Daguerre. A fresh look on adolescence, with a very Vardian point of view on feminine emancipation.
